HA HA, bet you thought I was going to put up another chapter of my Christmas Story. Wrong!!!! Thought I would make you wait LOL.
I am what I would call a very neat and tidy pack rat. I don't throw out anything if I think it can be useful or can be displayed. So any of my vintage ornies that get damaged or lose their tops, get put into bowls so they can still be treasured.
The Golden ball is something I bought years ago off Ebay. From the 1950's and its handmade. Weighs a ton so I have no idea what its made out of. But someone put a lot of time and effort into it and its really quite stunning in real life.
As an artist I always appreciate how much work goes into making something, and also, a little piece of soul goes into each piece.
Anyway, the orphan balls are in with some of my tiny Silver treasures, including two Victorian Baby Rattles, a Jester and Humpty Dumpty which I just love to bits.
Oh OK, I ADMIT it, I just love all my treasures to bits!!!
