Taken at the Car Bazaar car show held at the Butler County Fairgrounds in Hamilton, Ohio.
Other than the paint and wheels, this beauty looks to be stock, but has a Chevy V8 motor crammed under the hood and other mechanical modifications. I had a nice chat with the owners and hope to run into them again.
Taken at the Deer Park Car Show held in the Deer Park suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Things couldn't have been much worse from this photographer's POV. It was too hot, too bright, all but 3 of the 100 or so vehicals had their hoods up, many were facing a less than desireable direction, most of the cars were newish muscle cars or Corvets, I think this was the only hot rod I saw, etc. So, I shot the 3 that had their hoods down and quickly split for home's airconditioning. I went to a different show in the early evening which was more to my liking.

If given the choice between a sedan delivery and a full sized panel truck of the same vintage, I'm not sure which I'd pick. I'd be glad to have either - or both for that matter.
You can see a few primer spots on this side. The other side is almost all primered. Still, it looks like the body work has been completed and done well. I'd love to see the finished product.

Taken at the Road Bullies Tradition Rod and Custom car show held in the parking lot of Quaker Stake and Lube Colerain in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I took this shot from a long way away in 2022 as the car pulled into the show. It certainly isn't the shot I'd most liked to have, but by the time I got near to the car, he had put the hood up which was also the problem when I next saw it in 2024, so this is the best I have at least until next year's show when he may show up again.
Having had one myself, and because one of my best friends had an award winning one like it, this model is one of my all time favorites. It certainly is one of the best, most tasteful ones I've ever seen and the unique paint job really tops it all off beautifully. Love it.
Side-profile view of a 1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop ”Notchback” Coupe, [65A]; One of 409,260 produced. Fitted W/ optional 289-CID V8. Although the registration “DSX 135C” and front grille treatment both identify this car as a 1965 model, that distinctive chrome side scallop trim was made for the 1966 model year. Presumably at some point this car would’ve been restored and retrofit with 1966 trim pieces, including aftermarket mag wheels. The paintwork was in immaculate condition and the engine sounded great. Spotted outside the old steam train station in Pickering, Ryedale, North Yorkshire, U.K.

Perhaps I should have waited until she looked up, posed or simply got out of the car, but I had to keep moving while I still could. So many cool cars and trucks to see.

Every once in a long while, you get lucky. I had struggled to get a good shot of this cool panel truck at a different show where it was jammed in tight. Today, I caught him as he arrived at the show and he actually stopped when I signaled to him to do so - unlike so many others I've tried to stop - something I don't understand as you'd think they'd be proud enough of their vehicle that they would love to have people take pictures of it.
I couldn't ask for much more - it's yellow, the background is clean, the sky isn't bad etc.

Taken at a small, but excellent car show by the VooDoo Dragons along Route 4 in Hamilton, Ohio that we just happened upon while returning home.
I don't think I've ever seen a stock Anglia. All I've seen have been converted for racing. I guess the bodies are light, cheep and easily converted to straight line racing.
Rear-side-quarter shot of a Canadian-assembled, British market-specified RHD export 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Custom Ranch Wagon, 5-door, 6-passenger station wagon, [71B]. Fitted W/ V8 engine (possibly a retrofit 302 crate?), aftermarket “Cragar SS” mag wheels, painted in a faded/patina’d shade of “Raven Black” W/ vinyl roof, tinted black windows. Six-character black plate registration; “AJY 50B”, imported to the UK early in 1964. According to the owner (who has had the car since 1982), the car was originally used as a hearse, then after being customised, was taken drag racing at the legendary York raceway. Recently come out of long-term storage from a barn. Previously seen under-cover: www.flickr.com/photos/170082019@N03/53316963796/
