June 9, 2024 - The Former Hartman Hotel located at 150 E. Main Street in Columbus, Ohio. For more information about this building and why it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places see: www.hmdb.org/m.asp?m=248272
In the foreground is“PARKlot” by DesignGroup located on the northeast corner of East Main and South Fourth Streets. “PARKlot” made of bright green rebar, giving the appearance of tall grass. I worked for DesignGroup from 1985 - 2018 and remember when this project designed.
The openness of the parking lot makes the buildings easy to see.
Here were four former warehouses (L to R):
• the Brittain-Richardson & Co. Building, built 1882, now a/k/a the "Historic Brittain Richardson Building Loft Apartments"
• the Englehart-Winning & Co., north building, built 1884, now part of the "Fourth Street Lofts"
• the Englehart-Winning & Co., south building, built 1880, now part of the "Fourth Street Lofts"
• the R. L. McDonald and Co. Building, built 1880, now a/k/a the "Lofts at Landmark"

In downtown St Joseph, Missouri, on March 31st, 2022, the backs of buildings on the west side of North 4th Street, south of Jules Street, as viewed from North 3rd Street.
The four buildings were designed by E.J. Eckel and comprise the Wholesale Row Historic District, 77000800 on the National Register of Historic Places.

November 29, 2020 - Columbus Center (Chase Tower) designed by NYC firm Harrison & Abramovitz the associate architect was Columbus firm Granzow, Guss & Harder. International Style completed in 1965 is located at 100 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus, Ohio The brick building in the foreground used to be the headquarters for Ohio School Employees Retirement System.
This was downhome MISSISSIPPI RIVERTOWN smalltown architecture for the extreme southeastern corner of Iowa — so downhome.

Yea it's from circa 1870.
Keokuk is one of those U.S. towns that had a higher population in 1870 than it does now. So maybe Keokuk does not need this building any more!
