Downtown storefronts in pale blue metal siding. by Tim Kiser

Downtown storefronts in pale blue metal siding.

This is in Wisconsin but it reminds me of South Dakota or someplace like that, except for the cone-shaped streetlight fixture, which doesn't remind me of anyplace but here.

Is this one building, or are these two or three buildings united in siding.

1930 house of pale blue shingles and rusty metal plus phony shutters, in Gainesville.

I dislike the house because I cannot help but associate it with the white people of early 1930s north-central Florida. I do like to see palms and junipers in proximity to one another.

Pale blue house from 1910 in sun, at utility pole and lightpole-newly-converted-to-LED. by Tim Kiser

Pale blue house from 1910 in sun, at utility pole and lightpole-newly-converted-to-LED.

The local people mock this streetlight for preciously needing its own separate pole, instead of just being an attachment onto the utility pole conveniently located a few feet away: "Why?, haha jeez," etc.
