Heute habe ich mich bei bestem Frühlingswetter (13°C) mal wieder auf meinen Drahtesel geschwungen und bin von Greiling über Gaißach an der Isar entlang nach Lenggries geradelt. Ein schöner Rastpunkt sind die rauschenden Stromschnellen an der Isarburg bei Lenggries...
Ich kann mich erinnern, dass ich früher sehr oft an einem 18. Februar Schnee räumen musste oder beim Skifahren war. Das nahe Brauneck Skigebiet kämpft auch aktuell mit der dünnen Schneedecke, wer mag schon bei Frühlingswetter auf künstlich beschneiten weißen Schneisen die Hänge runtersausen? ich jedenfalls nicht...

bei Schonach im Schwarzwald
Along the mighty Mekong river on the border between Thailand and Laos. Rocks and boulders carried by the floods during rainy season carve fantastic shapes into the bedrocks, here exposed during dry season.
From a place the locals called '9000 holes', unlike the better known '3000 holes' site further north, which is accessible by 4x4 vehicle this place here is somewhat more remote and could only be visited by boat.
There are a few more shots from this interesting place in my album, e.g. this here, still one of my personal favourites after all those years.
