I was going to come and take a photo of the Orion postal units running under their own power; as it stands those are collectors pieces, it seems back to loco drags. 3Q41 Shieldmuir - Willesden.

57310 heads the 3Q41 05:34 Shieldmuir Mail Terminal to Willesden Princess Royal Distribution Centre. The train consists of class 319 EMU's converted for parcels/light freight use by Orion logistics. A new initiative from Rail Operations Group, aiming to take traffic of the roads.

At the time of our visit to Carlisle the units were being locomotive hauled but I understand they are now operating under their own power.

As for the title - Nigel can be seen getting his shot in the bag on the right of the frame.
