A Bharal taken from the moving tram in the Singapore Night Safari. Despite the fact that the animal is holding still, moonlight -like very dim lighting and shooting from a moving vehicle makes getting a clear picture extremely difficult. The Bharal, also called the Blue Sheep, is a caprine (species of goat) native to the high Himalayas. The species can be found in India, Bhutan, China, Myanmar, Nepal, and PakistanNotes about the Singapore Night Safari appear elsewhere in this album. (Singapore, Sept. 2023) A NOTE ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY AT NIGHT SAFARI, SINGAPORE: The use of flash (strobe) is strictly prohibited and you need to shoot pictures of moving animals, or still animals from a moving tram, in almost pitch dark. (barring very low moonlight- like lighting in places). So all my pictures from the Night Safari are fuzzy, blurred, not sharp and lack colour. All photos are taken with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which has performed fairly well within the limitations.
