Equipment: The eternal question for photographers is how much gear is truly necessary. Over time, I've accumulated quite a collection, and surprisingly, it's proven invaluable. Let's be honest, there are lazy days—we all have them. On those days, the thought of venturing out for a photo seems daunting. That's when having a well-stocked kit at home really pays off. Among my arsenal, the macro lens reigns supreme in versatility. It's my go-to for many shots. While prime lenses deliver those dreamy, blurred backgrounds and wide-angle lenses capture those whimsically distorted images (think bobble heads), knowing how to wield your gear is paramount in any scenario. It's one thing to own gear, but mastering its use elevates your craft. Sometimes, the best camera is simply the one you have at hand. Case in point: today's image, captured with my iPad Air.
