Ah the Neuse River, delightful.

The day the city limits of Raleigh, North Carolina, expanded to include a segment of the Neuse River, the Neuse River instantly became the most wonderful thing in Raleigh, by a factor of a lot.

That day apparently happened in the early 21st century, according to the map accompanying this article.

Envision the faces of Carolinians lighting up in happiness when they see prettiness. Next, position those mental images as "aids to personal inspiration," by intentionally moving them to whichever part of your brain is most in need of such aids.

See a May 14th plantlife condition, near the 43rd north parallel in eastern North America.

Yeah it looked about how I'd expect a young woodland to look on a May 14th near the 43rd north parallel in eastern North America, in the late 20th-early 21st centuries.

Winding among trees, a hike-'n'-bike trail.

This is in northwestern Ohio, about ten miles south of the Michigan border. If it were instead in southeastern Michigan, about ten miles north of the Ohio border, would you perceive the picture differently? I sure would!, unfortunately! But it is hard to explain why.
