On Saturday, September 24, 2016, Mike and I drove to San Antonio for a day trip with my parents. After a visit to the historic Alamo, we headed to lunch at a vegan restaurant called Señor Veggie (620 S. Presa St.).
The food there was plentiful and delicious. I ordered the Veggie Street Tacos, which featured jackfruit carnitas, corn tortillas, slaw, pico de gallo, and cashew crèma. (I ordered the hand-cut fries as my side.) Señor Veggie's menu features a wide variety of tasty vegan options.
