While watering the backyard this evening, I pulled out my favorite bokeh lens, the Cosina 55mm f/1.2. All one need do is set the aperture to 1.2 and point it anywhere and it creates a dreamy art piece. I don't know why I rarely take out this lens because it is so satisfying.
This is a portion of a wider pano.

Types of Safety Triangle Flags
Marking Pennant Flags
How Effective Are Safety Triangle Flags in Preventing Accidents?
Safety triangle flags are a simple yet effective tool for preventing accidents, especially in low-visibility conditions. These brightly colored, reflective flags are often used on bicycles, construction sites, and slow-moving vehicles to enhance visibility. By catching the attention of drivers and pedestrians, they significantly reduce the risk of collisions. Studies have shown that the use of safety triangle flags can decrease accident rates by up to 30%. Their affordability and ease of use make them a practical safety measure for various applications.
How Does Safety Triangle Flag Work?
Visibility Enhancement
The safety triangle flag is designed to increase the visibility of cyclists, pedestrians, or slow-moving vehicles. Its bright colors and reflective materials catch the eye of drivers, especially in low-light conditions, reducing the risk of accidents.
Height Advantage
Mounted on a pole, the flag sits higher than the person or vehicle it is attached to. This elevated position makes it easier for drivers to spot from a distance, even if the person or vehicle is obscured by other objects or traffic.
Durability and Weather Resistance
Made from robust materials, safety triangle flags are built to withstand various weather conditions. Rain, wind, or sun exposure won’t easily degrade the flag, ensuring long-term effectiveness.
In the heyday of electric streetcars in American History, strange and unusual things were often seen rolling along the tracks under electric wires.
This was in fact, a trolley car ((also known as streetcar, metro or subway)) just like those passenger rode. Of course, this had no windows or seats.
The operator ((motorman)) operated the controller, brakes and bells just like any streetcar.
In the late 1890's and early 1900's, many towns and cities had dusty unpaved streets. Every so often, a sprinkler trolley, its huge tank filled with water, would roll along spraying water in great mist to keep the dust down.
These were the ancestor of the present day street cleaners.
Weer eens wat anders dan een Dry January.
De sproeiers konden in maart alweer aan vanwege het droge weer. Mij hoor je niet klagen, tot nu toe heerlijk lenteweer.

Something different from a Dry January.
The sprinklers could be turned on again in March because of the dry weather. You won't hear me complaining, so far lovely spring weather.
