Tiny Jumping Spider; ID Help needed!

A tiny jumping spider (that is a Douglas Fir needle that it is climbing over!) with a striking pattern, but I lack the expertise to ID it to species. Near Sequim, WA, October 11, 2024. One of several tiny jumpers we have found on or around our home.

Chocolate Tube Slime Mold (Stemonitis nigrescens)

A rare find in this part of the world. Currently under discussion if this species is just a small form of S. fusca or a species in it's own right. DNA sequencing suggests the former, but nothing decided yet.

Feeling small

Oh, so tiny! But unmistakable with that eye pattern - a jumping spider, within family Salticidae. And I'm guessing a baby, going by its size.

This was difficult to photograph given how very small it was, the high, out of the way location and poor light. I managed a couple of shots before it scurried away.

All alone in this big, wide world. It may be small, but this tiny character is mighty, already a proficient hunter.

Not sure of species as yet.

Just a few mm in size.

The beauty of tiny flowers

Down to ground level for this find and shot.

Just a few cm in height, with flowers (red, orange or blue) less than 10mm diameter, scarlet pimpernel is a delicate and pretty little annual member of the primrose family, Primulaceae.

Flowers open only when the sun shines and close in overcast conditions giving rise to a collection of common names including 'poor man's barometer' and 'John go to bed at noon'.

Native range of Anagallis arvensis is Europe, Western Asia and North Africa.

Dainty and diaphanous: mantis nymph

So very tiny. Perhaps Orthodera ministralis, going by the thorax.

Delicate and diaphanous, yet a formidable hunter from day one.

Around 10 mm length.

Glass-like miniscule snake mantis by WinRuWorld

Glass-like miniscule snake mantis

Enlarge for fine detail.

Not seen as often as other mantis species probably due to the colouration and venation which can mimic certain vegetation and of course, its diminutive size - adults reach just 25 mm in length.

Commonly known as snake mantis due to the long, slender form and venation which resembles snake skin. Natural range is the east coast of this country.

To my eyes, it appears as if made of glass.

Here we have an adult female.

Little bonnets

Within genus Mycena, commonly known as bonnets - a trio of mushrooms that were so very tiny, no more than 10 mm height.

Mushrooms within this genus have caps that are rarely bigger than a few cm in diameter.

Behind the trio is a nasturtium stem for scale.

Bramble or Lotus Green Hairstreak

I'm so chuffed to have seen this tiny beauty, I so rarely see green hairstreaks! And they're so small, they're a complete bi... very difficult to photograph.

Small

Amidst the vast expanse of land, sea, and sky, a lone sentinel stands defiantly against the elements. Split Rock Lighthouse, an architectural marvel perched upon the rugged cliffs, appears diminutive in comparison to the titanic forces that surround it. Like a speck in the grand tapestry of nature, this humble structure is dwarfed by the sheer magnitude of its surroundings. The land stretches out in an unyielding embrace, the sea crashes against the rocks with a primal roar, and the heavens above boast an infinite canopy of swirling clouds. In this juxtaposition of the minuscule and the majestic, one cannot help but marvel at the audacity of human ambition in the face of nature's relentless power. Split Rock Lighthouse, a testament to man's resilience, forever etched in the annals of time.

I have no idea what kind of insect this miniscule creature is, it might be a beetle or a bug, so any help identifying this eensy critter is welcome.
