The Flickr 4L38 Image Generatr

DB Cargo 66185 hauls an unusually loaded 4L38 East Mids Gateway to Felixstowe North intermodal through Pymoor on Tuesday 8th April 2025. This location between Manea and Ely has several unusual elements for this section of railway. The Straight Furlong road in the scene is one of the very few roads that run underneath the railway in the Fenland area. The railway is highly elevated above the low lying surroundings to cross the Welney Washes that can be seen the far distance. The workshop to the left of shot includes a very old bus, which looks like it has not seen passengers in a very long time! (Photo taken with drone)

A very-smoky 66 200 is seen here passing slowly through Whittlesea, on April 3rd 2025.

She was one of a relative few still carrying the EWS livery in which she was delivered, albeit with DB logos in place of the "three beasts".
