I'm striking out this month with comments...sorry...First it was a week of problems with Flickr & now today I had no internet or Cable TV service for a good portion of the day...My whole town was out...I'll try to catch up on some this evening & Sunday.

The snow was melting away...again!

I was so excited to see these guys right near the road on New Year's Day...brought there I'm sure by pile of hay just recently dropped over the fence. There were 8 of these guys...yes, all boys:). Some are part of a pull team & some were at one time & now retired. I believe they are a cross between a Clydesdale & a Morgan...short but stocky & strong:). Please view on black:).

Strong and icy winds this day.
Bua is a small village on the westcoast in Sweden where I spent this last week at my friends place.
No snow really and just below zero but wow how cold the wind was blowing. But we are wikings arn´t we and we can stand this so easily! :-)
One of the best things in life is to come in from the cold, to the warmth of a cosy home and have some cheese-smörgåsar (cheesesandwiches) with hot chocolade, yummy!!

Last night it started to snow lightly around 6pm & the last I knew at 11pm or so, is we had about an inch or two ...Well, this morning I woke up to a winter wonderland!!! There was about 6" and every single twig on each & every tree was coated in a fluffy snow. I took these photos around 8am before heading to work...how I wished I had today off, but I did manage a few photos in the backyard:). Viewing large also lets you see the pink tint to the sky...what a glorious morning to end the year!!!
