An einem ruhigen Abend stand ich am Ufer des Mains, die Kamera bereit. Vor mir das Schloss Johannisburg, in warmes Licht getaucht, sein Spiegelbild fast unwirklich klar im Wasser. In diesem Moment wirkte es, als würde die Burg träumen – von vergangenen Jahrhunderten, von Menschen, die kamen und gingen, und von der stillen Würde, die bleibt. Ein Augenblick, in dem Zeit stillzustehen schien und Geschichte greifbar wurde.
Eines meiner Lieblingsfotos – vielleicht sogar eines meiner besten. Oder das Beste? Ich freue mich auf eure Gedanken und Anregungen.
On a quiet evening by the banks of the Main, I stood with my camera ready. In front of me, Johannisburg Castle bathed in warm light, its reflection in the water almost surreal in its clarity. In that moment, it felt as if the castle were dreaming – of centuries past, of people who came and went, and of the quiet dignity that remains. A brief moment where time seemed to pause and history became tangible.
One of my favorite shots – maybe even one of my best.
