A summer afternoon in the government quarters opposite the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH); it got unusually warm for the season over a few days and many people were out enjoying the river. I like the giant concrete circle and life along the river playing out in front of it.

The Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin, Germany. The Chancellery's primary function is to assist the chancellor in coordinating the activities of the federal government. The current Chancellery building was designed by Charlotte Frank and Axel Schultes and was opened in spring 2001. Because of its distinctive but controversial architecture, locals refer to the buildings as "Bundeswaschmaschine" (federal laundry machine). But walking the Regierungsbezirk in Berlin is a must for photographers when in Berlin.
