Taken for the Saturday Self Challenge 'Stripes'
I had no idea what to do for this challenge when it was first announced, maybe stripy toothpaste after the all white challenge, but then along came Freddie from the 'posing posse' dressed (coincidently) for the occasion and with a 'Where's Wally' book collection of stripy books.
I wasn't sure whether to post the mono or colour version. In the end I went for the black and white version, the stripes standing out more. The colour version is also on my photostream

Two Condor Airbus A330-900's on their way home to Frankfurt early this morning. Blue is D-ANRG from Cancun at 40,000 feet over NW Surrey, and Green is D-ANRD from Toronto trailing at 38,000 feet over SE Berks.
87010 'King Arthur' awaits departure from Coventry. This was taken only 20 years ago, but it seems much longer since we had proper trains running regular services on the WCML. The 87's certainly had much more life left in them, and the MK3 stock much better and more comfortable than the Vermin Pendolinos which ousted them.
