Boxtel is a small town, but its big church shows that it was an important place once. Just outside the town you'll find a park in which lies this castle, Kasteel Stapelen. The entire complex was given a new look in early neo-Gothic style in 1857-1858, to fit the then popular ideas about what a medieval castle should look like. Towers were heightened, the facade of the chapel was renewed and countless battlements were added to places where there never had been any. Since 1915 the castle has been used as a monastery. In the Middle Ages a miracle occured here which is still celebrated each year with a big procession.

I was reading this majestic book last year on Christmas night, but somehow it vanished in my hands like an old memory. Don’t worry, luckily I did few snap shots of illustrations with my camera before it completely gone. My description and few prodigious photos are the only evidence, fortunately you can see fairies and their dance.
Remember this is not my picture, this is a copy from forgotten liber. I found it in dusty attic. I always wonder did someone visited that place and describe it or it is just a phantasy forgotten classic. The book was collecting dust since my childhood, it bring me happy mood. My father was a sailor, he bought it in antic shop in Leningrad for my birthday and sent it via post office. I never heard about my father again, his whaler ship “Empress” was lost in Bermuda Triangle in a tempest.
In this outlandish book it is written about Secret Magic Land. You can’t find it on any map, you need much more than a hap. This place can only see eyes of child and teen without a sin. Otherwise this place would become polluted like Niagara Falls by hands of the corrupted people.
This is a terra incognita in which Peter Pan, Wendy Darling and Captain Hook live together in peace without boring law and rotten police.
They buried the hatchet, and they signed an armistice forever. This decision was clever. Wendy lost her power so she can become human and marry for Peter who grow up. Little by little Peter Pan forgot how to fly, he knew that magic is gone, one day like a human he will die.
“Love is the strongest power happy couple said”. Peter Pan throw his sword in the ocean, long time ago, his new hobby is painting. He and Wendy are good example of devotion. Wendy become very good dancer of rumba and samba.

Bit of a bitter sweet image, taken on the morning the kids went back to school, signifying the end of summer holidays, and as the mornings start to feel the subtle change of season (although it has been remarkably summer like since!)
