I nearly dismissed taking this photo - shooting into quite harsh sunlight and the messy foreground with the construction work going on. In the end I loved the frame from within my sheltered location and the slice of life that was evident around this working tram in Porto.
Rails Replacements
EV 34 was just recently delivered to Donnybrook Garage at the time of this photo, seen operating a Dart Shuttle/ Rail Replacement service from Booterstown Station to Dublin City Centre in October 2007.
DART services were suspended between Connolly and Sydney Parade Stations as part of planned engineering works. A shuttle bus service will operate between Connolly and Booterstown Stations for customers making cross-city journeys, or travelling from southside stations to the city centre.
