Brick structures, large windows without glass like dragon's dens, gaping interiors - this is how some old houses end up with out people living in them.
No more customers at the restaurant.
This is the barn I always saw since I was a little boy. It always stood out from the Freeway as we headed to Spokane, WA. Even as I have grown older over the years, I always look for it when I drive to Spokane. I recently ventured out to photograph it. The last time I did this was about 10 years ago. I noticed this barn has developed a "lean" to the right. I shot almost half a roll of film up close, and can say this barn is definitely living on borrowed time. Go out and shoot it while you can!
Thsi chain doesn't look like it is going to hold much longer, I suspect the rope will last a bit longer.

When I lived in New Mexico I saw this old store for sale. I think demolishing it would be a good idea, it was in very bad shape!
