With the introduction of KCS's striking "Retrobelle" paint scheme in 2007, the railroad has been phasing out the "Gray Ghost" paint scheme for nearly 20 years now. But, the paint scheme still persists on a number of locomotives running on the modern CPKC.
Here, still wearing its old "Battleship Gray", KCSM 4535 leads a Mexico-bound grain train through Chaney Jct on UP trackage rights in Houston.
