What a lovely sunny spring morning; 37608 on 5Q59 Bletchley 0ld Dalby with 730226. The magnificent Shustoke Pumping Station provides the backdrop.
37608 rescued 37501, and took the units from Northampton to Derby (not Old Dalby as originally planned). 5Q58, from Bletchley, with 730212 and 730217.

Originally bound for Old Dalby, this working was failed at Northampton
Working 5Q16 1124 Belmont Down Yard to Gascoigne Wood Sidings
37501, nearly an hour late, crosses the river Calder, at Calder Brdge Jn and takes the curve towards Normanton. The working is transferring a couple of 730s from Doncaster to Gascoigne Wood.
5Q58 Bletchley - Old Dalby with 730211. Bit of a detour round the West Midlands to turn without detaching the loco - less mileage would have been incurred if it had run round at Whitacre, but I suppose once you are moving a few extra miles isn't too much trouble.

Ousted from Road 1 in the Tram Shed due to the upgrade of the lighting, former Lisbon tram 730 continues to reside outside the Shed and was pictured on March 16th 2025. Keeping it company and still under protective wraps is former Porto Coal Tram 65.
